Intended launch operator
Curated Den’s intended launch operator is Design by Pozitiva Limited, company number 16234217, registered in England and Wales. Registered office: 18 Esmond Garden South Parade, London, England, W4 1JT.
The Companies House record checked on 25 September 2026 shows the company as dissolved. These company details must be confirmed following restoration before they are used as the live operator’s details.

What we use and why
To provide the design you request, we process your uploaded room photo, room type, style answers, budget, approximate measurements, selected products, generated images and saved-room access details. Providing this service is the purpose and intended contractual basis for this processing. Upload only photos you have permission to use, and avoid people, documents or other private details you do not want processed.
When you unlock a shopping list, we store your email with that room and your separate marketing preference. The email is not identity verification or a password. Anyone with the private room link can view that room, so share it only with people you choose.
We use feedback to improve the service, and technical request information such as IP addresses and error logs to prevent abuse and diagnose failures. These uses support our legitimate interests in operating a reliable beta, subject to your rights. We use consent for optional browser storage, affiliate tracking and any marketing emails; consent for one does not mean consent for the others.
AI providers and other recipients
Your room photo and relevant design instructions are sent to OpenRouter and its selected model provider, currently Google’s Gemini image services, to generate and plan your design. This necessarily shares that information with those providers. We do not promise that no third party receives your photo or that all provider processing stays in the UK.
Our hosting and storage providers process information needed to deliver the site. The production storage integration uses Supabase; the development beta can use local server storage. Upstash may process rate-limit identifiers when configured. Authorised operators can review saved designs and feedback to support the beta.
Providers may process information outside the UK. Their contractual arrangements, transfer safeguards and data-use settings must be checked for the production accounts before launch. See OpenRouter’s privacy policy, Google’s privacy policy, Supabase’s privacy policy and Upstash’s privacy policy.
Awin, Partnerize and retailer links
We may earn a commission when you buy through an approved affiliate link, at no extra cost to you. Only with affiliate consent and an approved programme configured will a retailer link pass through Awin or Partnerize. Otherwise it goes directly to the retailer, without our affiliate redirect or click identifier.
On a consented affiliate visit, the network and retailer may receive information such as the referral, destination, browser and IP address and use their own tracking cookies or identifiers to attribute a purchase. No email, room photo or private room key is added to our affiliate links. Network and retailer cookie lifetimes depend on the programme; they are not all the same.
We cannot remove cookies already stored on a network’s or retailer’s domain. Changing your choice here prevents future affiliate redirects from Curated Den. A retailer’s own privacy and cookie choices apply after you leave this site.
How long information is kept
Saved beta rooms, associated emails and feedback remain available for the saved-room service until a verified deletion request is completed or the beta service is retired. There is currently no automatic 90-day purge of room photos. Contact us if you want a room removed sooner.
Remembered-email access expires after 90 days and consent choices after 180 days. Expired remembered-email records and consent audit records older than 12 months are removed during maintenance. Privacy requests are retained while we handle and verify the request, and as needed to document our response and meet legal obligations.
Your rights and contact
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access or correct your information, request deletion, restrict processing, object to processing based on legitimate interests, or request a portable copy. You can withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. Some rights have legal exceptions; deletion is not always immediate.
Email privacy@curatedden.com, including the email used for your room or its design ID. Do not post your private room key publicly. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
